Recent Community Events - Bras for a Cause, Gallagher's Farm Market & Elite Wedding Expo at
Happy Friday everybody! I hope you're all doing well on this beautiful Fall day. Ethan and I had a fantastic photo session at Dennis, Gartland & Niergarth to update their professional headshots this morning and now we're in the office, rocking out to some tasty jams and going on an editing spree! If you follow our social media feed, you know that we're so fortunate to be keeping extremely busy thanks to our wonderful clients. We've also attended quite a few community events within the last month, and we want to share the amazing edits that we've been working on between jobs!
The first event we want to showcase is Bras for a Cause which is an amazing community event that raises thousands of dollars for different breast cancer related organizations every year. This year, this amazing organization raised funds to support Munson Healthcare Breast Care Assistance Fund and Single MOMM.
"The Munson Healthcare Breast Care Assistance Fund helps pay for mammograms for patients who do not have insurance or the ability to pay for these important screenings. The average cost per exam is about $70. In 2013, we helped 395 women pay for their mammograms. Every year, over $30,000 is needed to help assist women with mammography assistance needs. We are looking forward to working with the Munson Healthcare Breast Care Assistance Fund this year.
Single MOMM- This organization supports single moms in many ways. At any given time they have a number of single moms with breast cancer who need special assistance." - Bras for a Cause 2017
To do our part at Exposures by Rah and give back, we "padded a bra" with a professional headshot session for the highest bidder! We also attended the event and took some pretty great photos. Our next stop was at Gallagher's Farm Market during all of their pumpkin patch and corn maze activities! We got to meet so many wonderful families at this event and the weather even held off so we could get photos of all the festivities. Last but certainly not least, we hung out with the amazingly talented team at Natalie's Bridal & Tuxedo for the #BridalExpo at the Grand Traverse Resort & Spa back in October. It's always so much fun to be around these awesome ladies, and we were thrilled to be part of such a high energy event!
