Family Pictures on a Secret Traverse City Beach
Being a photographer in Northern Michigan means exploring lots of beaches, secret spots, and locations that aren't well known to the public. Paul and his lovely bride Traci love the beauty and splendor of all that our extraordinary region has to offer, and they are residents of the greater Grand Traverse area. Their children came to visit recently from all over the country, and they made a wise decision that they needed to have a family photo session while everyone was together. They love two tracking down the backroads and exploring the outdoors. This was their first stop on their road trip up M22 for the day - can you name that beach?
Paul Heidbreder is the Publisher of the The Traverse City Record-Eagle, and his new wife Traci (their wedding was just a few months ago!) is a Sales Assistant for Shoreline Fruit. I actually worked with Paul during my 10 year work life in marketing at the newspaper. It was wonderful to reconnect with him and meet his extended family! I've heard so much about all of them over the years, and putting voices, names and faces together was rewarding. Paul was a great boss, friend and mentor, and working with him in this different capacity absolutely warmed my heart - they were a fun bunch! After we wrapped up the session, they all hopped in a big van and headed up to Fishtown in Leland to do some exploring on the Lake Michigan lakeshore.
Thank you to Paul & Traci for such a lovely morning in the unpredictable Traverse City weather - We look forward to the next round of family photos!
