About 13 years ago, I met a guy named Adam during a summer that I lived in Harbor Springs. He was the life of the party and I always knew I could count on him for a laugh. Little did I know when I met him that several years later I would be photographing his wedding to the most wonderful woman, Jessica.
It had been a long time since I'd spoken to Adam, but it was so exciting to hear from him when he and Jessica started planning their dream wedding. We did their engagement photos this summer (CLICK HERE to see them) in beautiful Leelanau County at the world renowned Fishtown in Leland. We also stopped by Brengman Brothers Winery to snap a few photos in the vines.
Their love for each other is apparent in every twinkle of Jessica's eye and smirk on Adam's face. It was a treat to photograph their traditional Catholic wedding at the epicenter of Harbor Springs inside the Holy Childhood of Jesus Church - it was perfect because they also held the reception at the same location. We went up to a special spot on the bluffs in Harbor Springs overlooking Little Traverse Bay and finished off their sunset portrait session with a walk downtown & a nighttime sparkler sesh.
Adam & Jessica also took advantage of bundling our Enchanted Mirror Photo Booth services in with their wedding photography package, so they were able to keep the party hoppin' all night long! Jessica's father surprised them by hand making the photo booth backdrop which featured ribbons of their colors.
